The book Wake by Lisa McMann is about a girl named Janie who just has had it tough. She gets picked on just because of her clothes, and to make thing worst she can get into other peoples dreams if they fall asleep in the same room as her. If people knew that she could get into their dreams they would put her in a nut house and that would just make her reputation even more worse than it already is.
In most books about people getting dreams there is always the person that knows what is going and the say that it's your dream so you control it. If one of the rich popular kids in Janie's school was in her position they would get help as soon as possible. The characters in this book are all about ego and reputations.
It's so annoying that this is all they care about. Towards the middle of the book Janie meets Cabel because he knows about what she can do and he basically becomes attached to her because he knows what she is going through because he knows what its like being an OUTSIDER.
nyah I really like a lot of aspects of this post!! i like how you have the really mysterious ending with the in all caps "OUTSIDER" i think that was a really good cliff hanger and I like how you explained the story and added personal connection and personal opinions and threw it all together I think it was a good mixed and your opinions I thought were really detailed. Good work! :p
